South Africa's PRCC Now a Full Member of ICCO

The Public Relations Consultants Chapter of PRISA (The Public Relations Institute of Southern Africa) has been accepted by the ICCO board as a Full Member, effective from the 1^st of January 2011. Nearly all of the PRCC's 47 member consultancies are based in South Africa, though membership is open to PR agencies across the region, including countries such as Botswana, Namibia, Lesotho and Swaziland.

ICCO membership comprises independent national trade associations, or dedicated chapters thereof, for public relations firms. Including South Africa, ICCO spans twenty-eight countries whose member associations represent more than 1,400 consultancies worldwide ? all of which subscribe to our code of professional standards and ethics.

The highly-regarded network of associations comes together to address industry issues as well as to share knowledge and best practice. Members have access to global information about the public relations consultancy business and form part of an extensive international community of professionally managed firms.
