ICCO President: MD London & Partner, Aspect Consulting
Richard is Managing Director, London, of corporate communications consultancy Aspect Consulting. Since its foundation in 2004, Aspect has developed and implemented campaigns for companies as diverse as Akzonobel, Crop Life International, DSM, Ferrero, Kellog, Kraft, McDonalds and Medela.
Richard’s 24 year track record in public relations and communications consultancy has encompassed senior executive roles in multinational agencies such as Webber Shandwick, Fleishman-Hillard and Ketchum as well running his own specialist agency, Carrot Communications.
A corporate communications specialist, he has developed and directed international campaigns for companies and organisations as diverse as Atos Origin, Dell Computer, Dupont, Coutts, Ordnance Survey, Overture, Omniture, Siemens, and TNT Express.
Richard was instrumental in the creation of the UK’s first PR Planning and Evaluation Toolkit and the PreFIX campaign, both joint evaluation initiatives between the Public Relations Consultants Association PRCA) and the Chartered Institute of PR.
A former chairman of the PRCA, Richard is the current president of the International Communications Consultancy Organisation (ICCO), which represents some 1,500 public relations agencies across 28 countries. Richard is also Chairman of Fellows for the PRCA.
