John Saunders

Regional President EMEA, Fleishman-Hillard

John Saunders, until recently Fleishman-Hillard regional president for Continental Europe and Ireland, has this year taken on additional responsibility for the firm’s operations in the United Kingdom, the Middle East and Africa.

John co-founded Pembroke Public Relations in 1982. He then established Fleishman-Hillard Saunders in 1990 - which became a wholly owned office of Fleishman-Hillard in 2001 - and has now served in leadership positions within Fleishman-Hillard for more than 20 years. He is also a member of the Senior Management Committee, which is responsible for the firm's strategic direction.

John is a member of the European Association of Communications Directors, a fellow of the Public Relations Institute of Ireland, and former chairman of the Public Relations Consultants Association of Ireland. He served as president of the International Communications Consultancy Organisation (ICCO) from 2005-2007 and speaks on communications topics in a number of global forums.
