CEO MSLGROUP
Olivier has served since November 2009 as the CEO of MSLGROUP, Publicis Groupe’s flagship specialty communications, PR and events network. He brings to this role the demonstrated ability to transform businesses so they can operate efficiently and succeed in the digital age.
Prior to joining MSLGROUP, Olivier was executive chairman of Publicis Worldwide, a global advertising network, where he created, among other things, Publicis Modem, the digital advertising practice.
From 1999 to 2006, Olivier was with the Financial Times Group in London. As CEO, Olivier was responsible for all the Group’s newspapers, magazines and online activities, including the Asia edition of the FT and FTChinese.com, which he launched in 2003. In the early days of the internet, when many publishing companies were resisting new media, Olivier directed his international teams to integrate offline and digital operations - ultimately creating a seamless organisation as early as 2002.
Before joining the FT, Olivier was CEO of Les Echos Group. Under his watch, Les Echos, in 1996, became the first French publisher to launch a website.
Since 2007, Olivier has been also in charge of the session on Management of International Medias within the Executive Master on Media Management at SciencesPo University in Paris.
He is also president of the European Association of Communications Agencies.
