Brad Staples

President International, APCO Worldwide

Brad Staples, President International and Global Development Chair is responsible for APCO Worldwide's operations in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, India, China and Southeast Asia in addition to serving on the company’s executive committee. He is charged with expanding APCO's business interests in new geographies and driving the full range of services across markets, ensuring that standards of client service are consistent across all operations.

Throughout his career at APCO, Brad has conducted reputation and public affairs programmes for multinational companies and interest groups across a broad range of industries and policy areas as well as working directly with government and heads of state. Brad also leads APCO’s competition practice and has managed M&A and anti-trust communications campaigns for clients globally.

Brad joined APCO Worldwide in 1996 to co-manage the new Brussels operation. He went on to become CEO for APCO Europe and then for EMEA, leading the expansion of operations and helping to develop client service teams across the region. Previously he worked at a European affairs consultancy in both London and Brussels.

Brad speaks and writes regularly on best practice in public affairs and reputation management for corporate and government audiences.
